The Didg

The didgeridoo is probably the one of the oldest instruments in humanity.The instruments comes in different shape and sizes. Bamboo is usually what some didgeridoos are made of. It can be as high as 5ft long to 2ft. It mimics what some aboriginals think the nature of the world. It makes a loud droning sound through the hollow out center. I have one personally made from bamboo and it is very difficult to play. The link shows a man playing the didg really well.

    Its interesting how far back instruments can come from and how simple an instrument can be this one being made out of bamboo. I wonder if the way the instrument is made style of music played by the didgeridoo has changed over the centuries. -P. Maldonado

    It's interesting how instruments that are played now are different than ones from a couple years ago. Now everything is technological and some are specifically made to make weird sound effects. Also the way instruments are made today aren't the same quality.
